New England Sports is extremely grateful to our volunteer Head and Assistant coaches. You do not need to have been a previous coach or have even been a player yourself to coach in our league. You just need a willingness to help, drive to make a difference and a positive attitude. We will give you the tools you need for success! We appreciate the sacrifice and hard work it takes to teach young athletes to learn the game, sharpen their skills, show good sportsmanship and play as a team. We know these young players look to our coaching staff for guidance and support each and every week. Having coached for many years ourselves, we understand the patience it takes to earn respect of the players, have success as a coach, work out any issues with the team and keep everyone happy. We want coaches to enjoy the season alongside your players and will assist you with whatever you need to ensure an enjoyable experience for you and your team. The role coaches play throughout the season is crucial to the success of the league. You will receive a coach’s package with a clipboard, whistle, league coach’s cap and a playbook (for flag football.) We will also host coach’s Meet, Greet & Eat Meeting before the opening season with free food and drinks and we’ll handout the coach’s packages.
